Meg Ward - Melbourne Street

Due to her residency at Newcastle upon Tyne’s favourite underground event ‘ILL Behaviour’, Meg Ward has ascended to the top of her fair city’s emerging talent, and grown into a respectful artist. Her latest release on Needwant is evidence of this: “Melbourne Street” brings funky house, electro, acid and rap into the mix for something really special. This is supported by the euphoric techno rave energy of “Peanut Power” which features a very similar riff to a classic from the early ’90’s. With her productions being backed by heavyweights such as HAAi and Patrick Topping, Ward is another one to keep your eye on moving into 2021.
