Mr Oizo hooks up with Crookers for a raw release that transcends genres. Crookers fly solo on “They Comin'”, where vocal samples echo against dubbed out drums and razor-sharp percussion. The counterpoint between these elements makes for a wonderfully understated, spaced out techno track. “Johnny Depp”, Crookers’ collaboration with Mr Oizo, is more earthy.
