Another exceptional talent joins in the fun here on Perfecto Records, going by the name of Gaston Sosa. This diverse artist showcases his new two track release on one of our beloved imprints of the label, the dark and mysterious Perfecto Black.

Syrah starts the game, packed with exactly the right stuff. An intricate bassline and a minimalist percussion set things off while a heavy whispery female vocal sample adds a hint of mystery to it while the tension begins to rise with the use of frantic fills and various effects. Progressive house-oriented melodies carry things onward while driving grooves complete the aural offering. The break appears bringing with it long calming female vocal exhales among chilled soundscapes and an aural fluttering of mischievous synths. The journey carries on amidst chopped vox and mind moving grooves.

Fire continues where its predecessor left off. Incorporating progressive house rhythms, deep house influenced male vocal snippets and a dirty subterranean groove to hold it all together. Bird chirps, a somewhat distant choir and a one word catch phrase vocal tucked well within the break add a feeling of utter clarity and clairvoyance to the track before it resumes its usual addictive pace.
