Hailing from Montreal, futuristic bass and club music producer SIM has the red carpet rolled out for him thanks to Nervous Horizon and the London label’s release of Terminate. Inspiring facets of techno, dubstep and contemporary club music to meet with neo-dancehall and razor sharp percussion, SIM traverses a dubbed-out complex of rave and hardcore UK styles. Across its five tracks it can at times riff with baile funk and other outlandish future-afro genres, to others wholly defined by their industrial edge or deep frequencies tailored exactly for the rave and soundsystem cultures alike.
