Tash & Logothetis - Division Enosis

The latest release from Movement Limited finds label boss Tash and Logothetis presenting their debut collaborations. Greek artist and Movement Recordings boss Tash has been riding a wave of success across the first half of 2023, carefully balancing his broad production palette via releases for Awen Records, If You Wait and Uxoa Dutxa Elite. Highly regarded for his ability to blend and blur traditional genres into an elusive sound of his own, Tash now collaborates with newcomer and fellow countryman Logothetis on a three-track showcase entitled 'Division Enosis' Perfectly styled for the summer season, it is the deep and balmy vibes of 'Patlon Hauzkeeper' which set the tone for the release. Deeply mesmerizing rhythms, dreamy arps and a lazy laid-back groove marry beautifully at the outset; pulsating and percolating across a slow-burning ten-minute journey, one which is engaging and emotive in equal measure. Selection two 'Hacienta Loca' drifts further into the netherworlds of organic electronica. Tash and Logothetis utilize hefty bass plucks and soulful lead themes to conjure up utopian visions, masterfully layered atop shuffled breakbeats and wavy basslines for a perfect mid-tempo excursion. Rounding out the release are the transcendent vibes of the title selection 'Division Enosis'.
