Bob The Groove makes a welcome return to Bonzai Progressive with the exceptional two-tracker titled 'Children Of The Sun'. Following the immense support received for his previous release, 'Nous Sommes Un' we have no doubt that this latest offering will be met with equal acclaim. Hailing from France, Bob The Groove is a master at crafting impeccable music. With a mysterious aura surrounding him, he lets his music speak volumes. Throughout his career, he has graced numerous esteemed labels, including AH Digital, Abstract Space Records, 238w, D&R Digital, Aeriform, Hydrogen, and 3xA Music. It is always a pleasure to have him onboard, and we eagerly anticipate the musical journey he will take us on with this latest release. 'Children Of The Sun' opens the release with a hypnotic pulse on the intro contrasted with a striking synth motif. Melodic arpeggios appear creating a cascading kaleidoscope before a bubbling bassline warms the groove. Tight beats drive solid rhythms with crispy hats and shuffling percussions keeping the flow. The break reveals ethereal pads with an emotive edge and cosmic presence. Top-notch fodder for those journey-led sets. 'El Camino' concludes the release, opening with a muted kick, droning bass and mesmerizing arp sequence. A gritty bass rises up adding a gnarly edge to the groove. Punchy kicks, sharp hats and subtle percussions add smooth rhythms to keep the toes tapping. On the break, soft arps combine with that deep bass drone before climaxing to full-on mode with tasty note changes that invigorate the nostalgia juices. Superb effort once again, not to be missed.
