Joe Vanditti & Penélope Santacruz - Toxic Touch

We love Joe Vanditti's productions. His blend of minimal and deep house is the perfect groove for us to get things moving on the dancefloor. Since his last release (the killer "Play This Game" with Alex Bohemien) back in January, he has been supplying A-list DJs like Marco Carola and Dennis Cruz with some serious weapons, notably his two releases on Cruz's label "Antava" and "Turn Me Up". If you follow Franky Rizardo, you'll have seen the latter of these two tearing up the Amnesia dancefloor when he played it. For this release, he teams up with Miami-based vocalist Penelope Santacruz. Santacruz is the daughter of Latin Grammy winner Daniel Santacruz who, as well as having a serious artist career of his own, has written songs for the likes of Shakira, amassing 100Ms of streams. "Toxic Touch" is oceans away from that kind of Latin pop, but the songwriting quality is clear. Penelope vocals fit perfectly with Vanditti's warm roller, creating the kind of slow-burning deep jam that will stay in our USB for a long time.
