This track was released over 12 years ago on a compilation for Harold Budd, but even now, most still don't know it exists. It's taken me nearly that long to track down a high-quality copy. Now that I have, and now that you know, here it is. Please don't pay for it. That's not why it's there. I just wanted to share it with you in case you never heard it. Because it meant and means a lot to me. And I think it will soothe your soul, if you need it like I do. It's not Father's Day. It's not Mother's Day. It's just a Thursday. And I just miss my dad. He was the fucking man. And I just love my mom. She's my biggest fan, and was my partner and pianist on the track in our first and most likely only song together as she is even more shy than I am, and this alone nearly killed her. The endless cycle of non-humble brag “thank you's” in electronic music is fucking exhausting. Everything about electronic music and the look-at-me constant beg for attention is fucking exhausting. I'm fucking exhausted. And I don't know how to function in it anymore. But I'll never stop if you won't. And I'm thankful every day for my family. Blood and otherwise.
