Lyd14 (pronounced Lydia) is a Finnish songwriter and vocalist. Since the beginning of the 2000's she has been an influencer in the Finnish EDM scene. She started making electronic music as a kid in the early 1990's using Amiga 500 and trackers, living through the golden years of the birth of EDM. Lyd14 has a background with classical music education from conservatory. She is a trained classical singer and pianist, vocal coach and mentor, also worked as an A&R in EDM music industry. Lydia is very well known in Finland as the original front vocalist of EDM group Chorale and the singer of the legendary hit Univiidakko. She went on Chorale's journey for almost a decade in 2000's, performing hundreds of gigs and releasing several singles and two albums. After a long break, she returned to the electronic music field under the alias Lyd14 in 2020, when trance was chosen as the genre. Over the course of a few years, she has grown her network globally and is currently working with inter nationally influential producers as both a vocalist and a songwriter in various teams, writing music to other artists as well. She is well known from her ability to make memorable vocal lines and create amazing harmonies. Today she is definitely one of the most interesting voices in trance / EDM.
