Wilfy D - Garage Tools

Following on from a very impressive outing earlier on in the year, Wilfy D is back at it again with this fabulous six track expanse, courtesy of the team over at Time Is Now. We kick off this project with a look at ‘Garage Tools’ which combines smooth subtle melodies with crunchy drum skips for an exciting intro. We then dive into something a little more experimental rhythm wise with the 2-step influenced arrangement of the ‘3AM’ mix of ‘All About U’, followed by the stripped back yet dancefloor ready vocal chops of ‘Know U Like It’. The super groovy melodic plucks of ‘Midnight Shift’ lead the way into the second half of the EP, chased closely by two wicked remixes for good measure. Firstly DJ Crisps adds a slightly more metallic tang with his drum-heavy rethink, followed by Soul Mass Transit System’s chord-driven overhaul, perfect for the late night dances!
