Kayinda - TNT

Kayinda makes their debut – in moniker only – on Bonzai Progressive with the superb two tracker entitled 'TNT'. Made up of legendary producer duo Manu Riga and Phi Phi, who themselves are certainly no strangers to Bonzai, they have released several tracks in just a couple of years since the formation of their Kayinda guise on RPO Records, Vesta Records and Bedrock Records to name a few. The expertise and experience these guys bring is second to none. Their individual and collaborative works continue to leave the listener in awe at the sheer quality of production. Two highly motivated and genuinely nice people, we're always excited to have them here at Bonzai. 'TNT' is up first and its deep rumbling layered bass foundation sets us up for an explosive trek into the progressive abyss. Shimmering hats and rhythmic percussions get the toes tapping as chunky kicks drive the groove. Plucky, arpeggiated synth lines weave intricate patterns that create a striking balance that will keep the dancefloor busy. 'Rotation' rounds out the release offering up an equally infectious groove than its predecessor. A throbbing bassline and pacey rhythmic percussions create a framework for staccato synth plucks to work their magic while more exotic drums expand the spectrum beautifully. Cool vocals litter the groove, adding darker tones that blend effortlessly with main arrangement. Top-notch and a must have.
