Da Rick marks his Bonzai Records debut alongside label veteran Jan Vervloet on the superb 'Have A Nice Day'. Da Rick has been causing havoc on the worldwide dance music scene since 1997 having released notable tracks covering jumpstyle, hardtrance and hardcore on labels such as Antler-Subway, Jumper Records, Import Partners and more. He's worked with an incredible number of talented artists including the late great Da Boy Tommy with whom he had a hugely successful partnership with. Jan is no stranger to us at Bonzai, 'It's Your DJ' 'Bonzai Channel One' 'Thunderdance' anyone? Gaining notoriety with these tracks amongst others, he became a commercial success with Fiocco, releasing several chart-topping tracks as well as a highly praised album. Jan has been involved with countless other project covering a wide range of genres and, as always, we're delighted to have him here at Bonzai once again. The Original Mix opens with distinctive 4/4 claps before a pounding kick drum comes through along with rhythmic percussions and a rolling snare. Stabbing rave synths take control as melodic pads add harmony to the backdrop of chaotic beats. A cool vocal litters the track adding a catchy hook to the groove while gritty sirens ramp up the energy levels. D-Jay Lux Remix aka Jan Vervloet takes the mantle on remix duties, focussing in on the darker side of jumpstyle. Hyped up and ready to rock the dancefloors with thumping beats, frenzied percussions and a gritty siren hook. The darker edges of the track feature rolling drum sequences and heavy sub basses which give way to the amped up brighter sections which make this an absolute must have.
