GROUND brings his Osaka-delic sound to the Multi Culti disco! A long-time friend and collaborator, GROUND has been part of the Multi Culti Family since it's early days, playing together at festivals in Europe and Asia, hosting us in his native Osaka, doing limited edition silk-screened merch with his CHILL MOUNTAIN partner at our pop-up shop in Berlin. With all that history, it's about time we did a proper release together! This set of tracks has all his hallmarks as a producer: loopy, funky grooves that make you nod your head and stomp your feet, tracks bedazzled with wonky bleeps, squelches, noise samples, and pitched percussion, a musical collage packed with equal parts 'kawaii', 'wabisabi', and of course 'saikederikku.' Party music for machine elves, cartoon hallucinations, beats for inner and outer dance, drawn from mystical mountain moments as much as from the dope, dense cities of Japan - dig deep into GROUND.
