The latest release from D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music finds label manager Dr Green collaborating with fellow countryman Gru V for a new single. This Sri Lankan duo have become household names in the progressive house scene through releases via BCSA, Droid9, Movement Recordings and Wander Nation. Having both appeared on SLC-6 multiple times in the past and in collaboration on 2023's 'Atman', Dr Green and Gru V now combine their forces once again on 'Satya', alongside remixes from Aman Anand, ISMAIL.M and Dylan Deck & D.J. MacIntyre. The original mix sets the tone for the release, bringing the best production hallmarks of both artists, as they craft an emotive slice of progressive house. The duo's melodic craftsmanship is on full display with a gorgeous trance-inducing lead and siren-like wails blanketing a forest of clattering percussion, tough kick drums and driving grooves. Fresh off releases for Juicebox Music and WARPP, Indian artist and label debutant Aman Anand brings a lighter, more spacious take on the track, keeping it's melodic spirit alive, while a modern, club-effective groove keeps the focus firmly on the dancefloor. Returning to the label for his fourth appearance is Bulgarian artist ISMAIL.M who brings a harder cross-cultural vibe to the track, one which not only shows his high level of production, but is perfect for those peak hour slots or festival gigs. Rounding out the release is Maltese artist Dylan Deck and SLC-6 label boss D.J. MacIntyre who present their first ever collaboration with great results. With an uptempo feel, this cross-continental duo crafts a version full of rejuvenating energies and trance-inspired lines, a perfect interpretation to close out another well-rounded, hard hitting offering from SLC-6 Music.
