Following up some promising releases by the likes of Litherland, Tom Jarmey and Andronicus, enigmatic south west duo Jag Limbo emerge from the shadows with a three three track debut on Devon-based label Collective Leisure. On They Had Everything, feel the glassy-eyed and bittersweet electronics of “Everything” awash in Boards Of Canada style melodies and infectious broken beats. This is followed up by the dreamy and sublime coastal breaks of “Torrs Drift” and ending with the hypnotic heads-down techno of “Schranz Numm” – the kind of trance-infused minimal that’s reminiscent of Border Community’s output in the mid noughties.
