Takuya Yamashita - The Birth of Phoenix

Takuya Yamashita was born in Japan, He had been interested in classical music since his early teens. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he researched Mahler's symphonies and modern and contemporary classical music. Around the same time, influenced by his friends, he started listening to and composing techno, and at that time he was a big fan of English techno. After graduating from university, he moved to Sapporo and started going to clubs more often, where he started listening to and composing minimal techno and Detroit techno. He seems to be a talented and versatile artist, composing music in a variety of styles under different artist names.
