‘Right Here’ is dedicated to my Dad.

Sometimes music can be a haven to go to, it can help you move through vulnerable times and moments. Process things that are difficult or feel out of reach.

This song was the last track I wrote for the album in the most vulnerable and shocking time of my life. I wrote ‘Right Here’ on the morning of my Dad’s funeral. It helped me shield away for a brief moment at a terrible time and out of this intense vulnerability came a song I will always treasure, about a person I will always treasure who endlessly supported my wild music dreams my whole life.

He was there at my headline show last year in London and got to see me be the performer I always dreamt of being and told him I could be. I will treasure that forever. I miss you and I know you are proud. Inside of the vinyl cover of this album there is a dedication to my Dad. One year ago I could never have predicted that was even possible or plausible but life can be so tragically unpredictable at times.

This song is not about loss but a reminder to treasure those closest to you at all times, to enjoy life to it’s absolute fullest and to be your most authentic self as my Dad always encouraged me to be.
