Eitan Reiter & A. Balter - Midnight Glide

Eitan Reiter presents the second installment of Impulse. The opening piece of this four-track release is Eitan Reiter's remix of a dance floor classic. The original version of 'EOE' by Avishay Balter and Eitan Reiter was released in 2011, showcasing the techno sound of its era. However, what truly set the track apart was its distorted acid bassline. In the new version, Reiter takes the acid line of thought back to its roots, employing an early nineties approach, stripping the material to its core and allowing it to shine in its purest form. 'Behind Bars,' the second track of IMPLS002, sees Eitan revisiting another collaboration with Balter from 2011. He delivers a remix that transcends time, making it difficult to pinpoint the age of this musical piece. Unlike the trendy original cut, this rendition sounds timeless. The third track is a 2024 version of 'Midnight Glide,' originally released in 2017. Here, Reiter takes a nostalgic journey back to the origins of trance, crafting a remix that evokes the feeling of stumbling upon a long-lost tape on the beaches of Goa. Concluding the release is a remix of 'iRich' by Gal Perez, renowned under his PRZ moniker. This fresh rendition of the twelve-year-old track, originally penned and produced by Balter and Reiter, embodies Electro in its purest essence, reminiscent of the compositions crafted by Detroit's musical vanguard. It infuses nostalgia with innovation, encapsulating the essence of Impulse.
