For a while, things would change; the Saturday nights where our love for the DJ art would be on pause, and the Sundays reflecting on the night before just became another day. For international DJs and producers, the concept of waking up at home on a Sunday morning seemed unrealistic. But a new reality dawned, and for Markus, provoked him towards this melancholically reflective instrumental piece; Sunday Chords. The initial spurt of appraisal for the composition within the album boundaries blossomed further through the Miami resident's acclaimed 10 stop audiovisual Escape Tour throughout the fall and winter, where Sunday Chords elevated the blissful backdrops of isolation in nature. Ably equipped with an additional interpretation by Somna, Sunday Chords extends its wings from cult community favorite to the wider trance circle.
