After something of a hiatus, Asia Music is proud to bring you an exciting three-track EP from Milu Grutta and Möbel Schulz. Sonic journeyman Milu Grutta brings over 20 years of live performances across multiple genres. A committed collaborator, he has worked with everyone from Adil Smaali to Christian Vivano. A big fan of granular synthesis and micro-editing, his music is textured and deceptively complex. Complimenting Milu's passion for pushing boundaries, Berlin-based Schulz is a hidden gem of the local underground scene. He is renowned for his meshing of styles and textures to create new and interesting hybrid sounds. A musical dynamo, he has a background in engineering and has incredible drumming skills. Opening with Maps, glitchy percussion and randomized FX draw you in. Laying down a thick minimal groove, the track straddles that house and techno line with dark ambition. Full of tension the build towards the main break is ominous and cleverly hypnotic. A secret weapon for the late night floors that will do serious damage. Next up, Petit King opts for a more traditional deep house leaning. Bass-driven with trippy sonics this is one heavy tribal vibe with arms aloft e-moments. Finally, The Life After rounds out the pack with a joyous, life-affirming warmth. More melodic than the others, it captivates the mind and body in the most delightful way.
