Catching Shapes & Valerie Rose & Slimskit - Waypoints

The 'Waypoints EP' lands on Enhanced Chill from Catching Shapes! It's a truly sublime collection of four tracks on show this week from Irish producer Catching Shapes. His electronica-tinged productions are exquisite in their construction, as showcased on singles 'Let Me Go' and 'Honest'. Joining those records are two further offerings: 'Forget Me Not' captivates with its fluid stop-start drum patterns and peppy synthwork, while 'Better Days' features a groovy bass pattern over which a blend of acoustic and electronic elements - plucky strings and zippy synths - converge to create a folk-infused delight. It's an impressive first EP on Enhanced Chill from Catching Shapes and we can't wait to see what else he has in store.
