Next up from camp Dubthing, a vibrant display of liquidised musicality as we see Thing deliver four potent original creations, giving us both emotive overtones and dancefloor ready delights. Opening up we have the melancholy melodic structures and sweeping synthetic layers of 'I'm Going Away', followed closely by the more shuffling half-time drum struts of 'Music Never Fails Me', which itself packs another emotional punch. From here, Hypewave joins proceedings, arriving firstly on stunning soundscapes of 'Who Should Be Hurting', which again sends the EP in a whole new direction, before the nostalgic synth chords and rainy overlays of 'Departure From The Past' sees the collection out in real style.
