Kazuki - Flowers

Pale grey smoke filled the sky, casting an eerie glow over the wreckage of the Zephyrus. The once-proud supply ship now lay half-buried in the sand, its metal wings twisted and rising high into the air. Kane and Vera, two maintenance workers from the nearby outpost, approached cautiously, their boots scraping over rocky sand. The mission was simple: check for survivors, salvage what they could, and report back. But something felt off. The mountain air was too still, too silent—until a piercing screech echoed off the nearby cliffs. Kane gripped his plasma torch tighter, casting a worried glance at Vera. As they neared the crumpled ship, the screech came again, louder this time. A shadow shifted in haze, something large and unnatural. Suddenly, it emerged. The creature was grotesque, unlike anything theyd seen on this forsaken planet, its body a mass of limbs and jagged claws. It screeched again - the bloodcurdling sound reverberated through their bones - and charged.
