Kora (CA) & Robbie Akbal - Las Coloradas

Akbal Music Editions is a new sub-label of Akbal Music focusing on quality electronic music with no boundaries. Curated by Robbie Akbal, the label will showcase a diverse range of music styles. The debut release from the new label, Las Coloradas, is a collaborative project featuring Kora, Robbie Akbal, and Alice Rose. Recorded across multiple locations, including Montreal and Koh Phangan, Thailand, the project captures a unique blend of creativity. Robbie Akbal explored Alice Roses vocals and violin during sessions on the island, elevating her artistry to new heights. Later, in Montreal, Robbie teamed up with Kora for a series of vibrant studio sessions, merging Koras groove and soulful musical expression with Robbies vision, resulting in a truly magical piece of music. *Las Coloradas* is a captivating sonic journey, blending tight organic rhythms, earthy tones, hypnotic synths, and warm violin melodies.
