New York City-based Italo Disco/Retrowave duo, Bunny X, will release Love Minus 80 (The Remixes) on 14 December 2023 to compliment their sophomore LP release Love Minus 80, which came out earlier this year. A darker and more introspective album than their 80s retropop-leaning and John Hughes-themed debut album, Young & In Love (Aztec Records), Love Minus 80 was inspired by science fiction/fantasy novels, films and television shows including Love Minus Eighty by Will McIntosh, Neuromancer and Virtual Light by William Gibson, The Forever War by Joe Haldeman and The Expanse TV series, among others. Love Minus 80 (The Remixes) brings Bunny X together with a number of exceptional producers in the Synthwave genre and beyond including Earmake, Cassetter, jacket., The G, Dilemma Machine, Future Analog, Grammy Award winner Tony Lake, Diamond Field and more. Each artist delivers unique interpretations of the songs contained on the original album and the result is nothing short of extraordinary.
