Avoure - Essence

Avoure returns with a new three-track release on Biome Recordings titled Essence EP (BIO007). In this EP, he explores the genres of Melodic House, Indie Dance, and Electronica, with each track forming a unique sonic image that evokes a sense of anemoia - nostalgia for times never experienced. Chasing Sunsets opens the release with a melodic sound built on the synergy between Deep House and Melodic House - a space where Avoure often finds his sonic comfort zone. The track develops through deep synth basslines and evolving sequences. These elements then lead into guitar riffs and chord stabs, lifting the listener to a new level of emotion. The EPs title track, Essence, sits at the center of the release as a dancefloor-oriented Indie Dance piece. It features a unique vocal delivery that breaks the fourth wall by directly addressing the listener with a philosophical question about the essence and purpose we all seek on our journey. The production is filled with immersive sound effects that envelop an arpeggiated bassline rhythm, alongside Avoures signature melodic sequencing. Closing the EP, Space People ventures deeper into the realm of anemoia, drawing inspiration from Indie and Psychedelic Rock. Classic analog textures from the Korg Monopoly, Roland SH-101, and Sequential Prophet 10 shape a distinct sonic identity, pushing Avoures sound beyond traditional dance music boundaries. Space People is also Avoures first foray into the Electronica genre, adding a new dimension to his creative evolution.
