Legit Trip is back with his sixth release on Ibiza-based Jack’s House Recordings. The Dark Moan EP opens with ‘Acid Babe’, a bouncy and energetic track that combines a classic 303 bassline with funky drums and robotic jack vocals, while ‘Otkuda’, is a tunnelling and hypnotic affair properly made for the heads-down moments. The B-side kicks off with the title track, a a moody number that’s equal parts slinky and hypnotic, while the infectious minimal funk of ‘Gotcha’ with its looped vocal refrain is a playful and uplifting way to end the EP.
