Finnish producers feature regularly on Pure Trance, and this one was a recommendation by Finland's very own Orkidea. Jyri Hintikka a.k.a. MK8 hails from Espoo, which lies to the West of the capital Helsinki and Breathe is his 3rd single release, originally featured on Solarstone's Electronic Architecture 4. At 126 bpm this should appeal to both trance DJs and those braver progressive DJs who wish to inject a little Pure Trance into their sets. With an offbeat lead riff that nods appreciation to DJ Jean's The Launch, Breathe never over-reaches itself, but rolls along with simplicity and graceful power.
