In 1997, Australian music icon Renee Geyer collaborated with songwriter John Clifforth, recording demos including the soulful Cruel Or Kind. Fast forward to 2025, when Filthy Lucre members revisited the tracks demo archive and transformed its original 92 BPM into a vibrant 125 BPM nu-disco/house record. The Release also features a remix from The Journey whos interpretation captures Geyers vocal essence while blending contemporary house trends.
