March 1st is the founding day of Cold Tear Records. I started it in 2010 and it has been a big part of my life since. The label was operational for six years when I decided that I should organize some kind of a release for the labels birthday, which with time became like my own second birthday. So the idea was to collect a few rootsy dub tracks from our catalog and put them together into a free compilation called "Heavy Dub". It's a genre tag that I kind of hijacked from joergmueller. I felt like it was just a simple thank you to our supporters. I didn't think it will get a lot of attention, since the tracks were already released, I didn't have any expectations at all, but I could almost say—it kinda blew up. And then I did exactly the same next year, and again the response from our audience was unbelievable. I understood that I've discovered something precious, and now it's a tradition, and one of the most successful projects on the label.
