This is the first release from newly formed super-group Shadow Realm, aka Coventry's James Kitcher and Nuneaton's Glynn Alan. Both are no stranger to the Pure label family with Kitcher's recent Ethereal Reality and Alan's Limitless both scoring high in the charts. Other Side of the Sky is a unique, dark and thunderous monster which originally featured on Electronic Architecture 4, albeit heavily pitched up where the track's energy was transformed – worth bearing in mind if you're planning on spinning it in a faster, more driving set. At its original tempo of 124bpm Other Side of the Sky is sophisticated, brooding and menacing with a thick, rich warping bass and heavily processed, saturated tones that morph and evolve throughout an expressive and carefully considered arrangement.
