Zireal & Nene Solano - Universal Language

Inspired by communication across cultural boundaries, Ascent Records presents our second release in Universal Language.

Featuring vocals in an invented, fantasy language by Nene Solano (vocalist for Japanese ambient group Lost in the Fog), Universal Language showcases emotion with words that are not comprehended by the rational mind, but are intuitively understood.

The Lux mix kicks things off with a pulsing drive and fast paced precision, breaking out into a bed of clouds and emotive string pads, bringing the vocal to a head and bringing in a triumphant lead, then taking things home for an epic chorus.

The Umbra mix fills in the deeper quadrants with languid but punchy rhythms, opening up to a view over the stratosphere to bring in the lead vocals and pushing to a laid back yet powerful climax with driven pads.
