Through its latest release, by the capable hands of Mr. Sid, the brand new DRK label shows no signs of stepping on the brake, and continues to bring nothing but audio seduction. The sweet, rapturous sound of progressive house takes over, as 'Flames' shows exactly why Mr. Sid is on fire.

We're dealing with quite the name here. Since 2018, Mr. Sid has built an impressive discography - clocking up releases on Spinnin', Armada, Revealed, Protocol, Doorn Records and more. Following his collab with Nicky Romero, he got the chance to remix Armin van Buuren's 'Mr. Navigator' - and if that doesn't convince you of this man's talents, perhaps the fact that he became #6 in the Top 101 Best Producers of the World on 1001 Tracklists will. Either way, it's about time we let the music do the talking. 'Flames' is slightly less big-room than the average Mr. Sid original, but rather focusses on the darker, more driving side of progressive house. It's melodic, playful, smooth and easily deserves a round of replay. This one ignites a spark, whether that's at warm-up, peak-time or anytime at all.
