Copenhagen-based Kontakt proudly welcomes veteran Briton J.S.Zeiter to the label family, with this massive Detroit-influenced dub techno release. Zeiter needs no introduction to fans of the subgenre, and this release proves why his productions have been highly appreciated over the years.The ‘Regenerate’ EP treads a rather ghostly trail on the cavernous and glacial title track, followed by two extra renditions by the legendary Greek producer Fluxion. The Rework’s minimal and stripped back rearrangement allows perfect space in the mix for those lush dub chords to ebb and flow, while the Fluxion Original Mix is a melancholic yet evocative ambient journey – echoed and reverberated to utter perfection.
