Tracklist
As the millennium turned from old to new, famed trance label Platipus released what would be not only one of the most iconic releases from its catalogue, but in all of trance history. Thanks to their blessing, Coldharbour Recordings is delighted and proud to present an updated picture of Viola, with two excellent remixes on offer.
Commissioned initially for the In Search of Sunrise 14 compilation, one of the Coldharbour family members at its origin stepped up to the plate, and Elevation did not disappoint. Emphasizing the euphoria that Viola possesses, his interpretation carries that infectious momentum that is perfect for the peak hours of any setting, whether club, arena or festival.
But that's not all. Driftmoon and Robert Nickson's new project Astrosphere has already made a significant impact throughout the summer with their Fire Which Burns Us All original, and they combine again with another high-paced dose of bliss, which has already gone down well with followers of Dreamstate and Transmission.
Two remixes which ensure that the legacy of Moogwai's Viola is not only intact, but enriched.
01. Viola (Elevation Extended Remix) (6:47)
02. Viola (Driftmoon & Robert Nickson present Astrosphere Extended Remix) (10:37)
