In 2021, Reed Kackley (BAILE), was hired to score a short film ‘Elle’, that follows an estranged couple over the course of a night as they unexpectedly reconnect. It's a moody drama, mixed with horror, that required a score oscillating between somber and melancholy, and euphoric and surreal. Unfortunately, the film got stuck in the post-production process without a plan for release, so Kackley decided to go ahead and release the music, titled: ‘Score to a Short Film’.
