The label's kick-off release features its creator, Milio, a seasoned producer, live performer, and DJ. With this inaugural release, we aim to highlight the diverse expertise of this artist. 'Parade' is an energetic track that transports you back to the 90s through a time machine. 'Nobody' draws inspiration from dub house music, delivering a deep and immersive sound. The EP's title track, 'Monochrome,' began in 'Willem Twee Studios' in 's-Hertogenbosch,' Milio's hometown. This is a place he often visits for inspiration and to make recordings with vintage gear. The final track, named after the K2 mountain, presents a darker tone, designed for peak-time club moments.
Given the prolific output, the real challenge lay in curating the perfect selection of tracks to effectively showcase the various facets of Milio's music—a goal we hope the Monochrome EP achieves.
