Q-IC & Point Blanc mark their Bonzai debuts with the outstanding 'Pistolet'. Q-IC started his musical career at just 15 years of age when he began to work as a sound engineer. His path to electronic music took a natural course and he soon found himself working with major labels releasing quality tracks worldwide. He held residencies at top clubs such as Cherrymoon and Complex and has featured in many festivals including Tomorrowland, Reverze, Nature One, Love Parade and City Parade to name just a few. A massive name on the retro scene in Europe, we're delighted to have him on board. Point Blanc started his career in 1996, working as a freelance producer for USA Import Music. His tracks were mainly Hardcore focussed and he went by several aliases to get his sound out there. Working with renowned artists in the early 2000's with great success, he began looking at other genres with jumpstyle becoming his new forte. Releases on many revered labels soon followed and his name became synonymous with the style. We're delighted to have him here. The original mix opens the release setting the mood with pacey kicks and gnarly 303 stabs. Rave synths fade up to a classic vox drop where the thumping drums take control. A short break reveals more scathing 303 stabs as frenzied synths create a climax to the final act. We welcome the master of chaos, DJ Furax back to the label with a fierce remix. We're always excited when this guy drops his latest effort and this time is no exception. Here, Furax delves into the darker side of nu rave techno with thick, pounding kicks and frenetic synths. Spritely hats keep the rhythm moving as the synths take on a cascading pattern that will no doubt ignite the dancefloor. Paris, France based artist N.O.B.A is up next on remix duties, debuting on Bonzai with a fine cut. Since 2003 he's released a wealth of tracks and played at top clubs such as Complex and Cherrymoon to name a few. On the remix here, we're treated to a thunderous slice that gets the adrenaline pumping. Heavy hitting kicks and cool vox combine before gnarly 303 lines converge and morph into a wicked pattern. Blistering rave synths raise the intensity making this an absolute must have. Q's Hard Edit concludes the released and goes ballistic with dirty jumpstyle kicks, infectious rave stabs and phrenetic percussions. A monster of a tune that will keep the hard heads grooving.
